CrossEyed Design is Looking for an Independent Sales Rep
We are looking for an Independent Sales Contractor-which essentially means someone who would contact potential clients and generate leads of people or businesses that need a website or need their current website redesigned.
The pay would be from commissions based solely on sales and would be a percentage of the total website cost. The starting point would be 7% commission. The money would be paid out as the client pays. Our clients typically pay a 30% down payment, 30% mid payment and 40% final payment. So we would be paying 7% of that amount each time we are paid. The more sales that you obtain could lead to bonuses or an increased percentage of future sales. Our success will be your success as well.
The schedule would be completely flexible. Because you would only be paid for actual sales made you can work as often or infrequently as you like. Most of the work would have to happen during business hours in order to contact other businesses. You can make 100 calls one day and none the rest. Obviously the more you sell the more you make.
As far as training, we can meet with you and give you a good idea of what it is that we have to offer, basically the product that you will be selling and can walk you through the terminology and what to look for.
To start out with we can provide you with a list of potential clients. You would contact the people, try to get to the person who is in charge of making decisions. If they have a website that is not good or no website at all, you could point out ways that a better website would improve their business. If they are definitely not interested you cross them off the list write down the reason, date and time of the call. If they are interested you try to get a feel for what they are looking for and then schedule a time for us to contact them and go through all the details. As you get better you will collect this information and then we would simply send them an estimate that outlines the cost. Once they approve the estimate and send a payment you get paid.
Although you would not be an employee of CrossEyed Design, LLC, but rather an Independent Contractor, we still need someone who can represent the business in a professional manner and in such a way as to reflect our business practices.
